Hi! I'm Bakhtiyar

I currently work at Embark Studios in Stockholm, Sweden as a Machine Learning Research Engineer, contributing to building the future of games!

I am an alumni of Information Retrieval & Extraction Lab, IIIT Hyderabad where I did my Bachelors in Computer Science and Masters in Computational Linguistics.

My interests are in Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval but span across various domains in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

• Work on discerning well-formed web search queries accepted at ECIR '19.

• Built the first semantic role labeling (SRL) system for Sumerian, a historical language as a part of Google Summer of Code '18 in collaboration with Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative.
